School Services

School based services address social coaching, school success, truancy and mental health issues through support, advocacy and goal setting for the future. Busse & Reid school based mental health and special education services provide support and training in the following areas:
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD)

Learning Disabilities (LD)

Other Health Disorders (OHD)
Mental Health Counseling

Consultation services are available to public schools, charter schools, private schools and home schools from MN state licensed staff in ASD, EBD and LD.

School-Based Evaluations
Special Education Evaluations and Re-Evaluations can be completed for children from elementary thru transition age. All evaluations are specific to the child and meet the MDE requirements.
Training And Workshops
Training for teachers, other school staff and paraprofessionals can be tailored for the specific needs of the school.
School Based Mental Health Services

Individual and family counseling services, for a variety of mental health needs, may be provided by Busse & Reid at school. By providing mental health services in the school, the child's time outside of the classroom will be limited and attendance is more ensured.

Individual Education Evaluation (IEE)

When parents/families do not agree with the results of an educational evaluation. Parents have the right to request an Independent Education Evaluation (IEE) be completed.
