Dyslexia is a learning disability that makes it difficult to read, write, and spell in spite of normal intelligence and adequate instruction. It is caused by the brain's inability to process information received from the eyes or ears into understandable language. It does not mean that these students are lazy, or not trying hard, or not intelligent. It just means that they need to be taught in a different way.

Busse & Reid offers testing for Dyslexia that includes a full educational evaluation, We can help families and individuals to better understand their needs and recommend interventions to improve their skills and self-confidence. We are able to measure a student’s abilities in phonological processing, reading, spelling, writing, auditory processing, vocabulary and math. Our evaluations provide a clear and objective view of a student's abilities and needs.

Evaluations for Dyslexia are not covered by insurance.
